Those links on the left are supposed to be ORANGE, by the way, which is much more readable. But the visited link color is yellow and I have visited my own links. I am not sure how to fool my markup into going back to the orange color.
I won't be putting my site on the internet itself. Mainly because I shamelessly stole photos off the internet rather than shooting my own. I did use some of my own, and I wanted to shoot more photos, but since so much of my scrapbooking stuff is packed away or tucked in corners it was just not feasible. I don't even have a shelf where I could put all my albums and then shoot them in a line. Writing a whole site, then doing the design, then writing the markup by hand was all too much.
The background, by the way, is a Twitter background, and the bottom of it has these lovely orange, pink, and yellow flowers that I sampled for my colors.
It was lovely but getting rid of the flowers on most of it (on the original they go all the way across the bottom) so as to allow the text to be readable, while still preserving the gradient, took all the PhotoShop I had in me.
The site is not what I envisioned, but I am cursed with a creative mind that comes up with projects and options that the real me does not have the time, money, equipment or skill to make a reality. At some point I always have to accept my limitations.
And then I steal your photos. I am a terrible person. A terrible person seeking an A in this class and without the patience, equipment, training or give-a-damn to go out and shoot perfect photos for what is now just a 10 minute class presentation.
After Thursday after noon I will be FREE FREE FREE. And then I have class starting on Tuesday. No rest for the wicked.
